Non-Dairy Cashew Alfredo Sauce

Our non-dairy cashew alfredo sauce goes on just about anything. We have tried this with zucchini noodles, over steak, pork, and chicken. We have also added a handful of cilantro and lime to make an even higher flavored sauce.

  • 1 1/2 cups raw cashew
  • 1 lemon
  • 3 large cloves of garlic
  • pinch salt
  • 2 TBSP fresh basil
  • 1 1/2 cups of almond milk or coconut milk


  1. Add cashews to a sauce pan, fill the pan with enough water to cover the cashews. Bring to a boil, remove from heat and cover. Let sit for 15 minutes.
  2. Strain cashews and add to blender with remaining ingredients.
  3. Blend until smooth, slowly adding milk 2 TBSP at a time until the desired consistency is achieved.
