Add cornstarch to 1/2 cup water and mix well. Set aside for later. This will be used to thicken your sauce.
Add remaining ingredients to a medium sized pot and heat over medium high heat. Once boiling add cornstarch and water mixture, mix well.
Return mix to boil and stir until sauce reaches the desired thickness. If your mixture is to thick for your preference, add a bit more water. Remove from heat and store in an airtight container until ready to use.
