Homemade Teriyaki Orange Sauce
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup tamari sauce
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 2 TBS cornstarch
- 1 TBS honey
- 1 TBS brown sugar
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 tsp ground ginger
- 1/2 cup water
Directions
- Add cornstarch to 1/2 cup water and mix well. Set aside for later. This will be used to thicken your sauce.
- Add remaining ingredients to a medium sized pot and heat over medium high heat. Once boiling add cornstarch and water mixture, mix well.
- Return mix to boil and stir until sauce reaches the desired thickness. If your mixture is to thick for your preference, add a bit more water. Remove from heat and store in an airtight container until ready to use.
