Homemade Teriyaki Orange Sauce

  • 1/4 cup tamari sauce
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 2 TBS cornstarch
  • 1 TBS honey
  • 1 TBS brown sugar
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/2 cup water


  • Add cornstarch to 1/2 cup water and mix well. Set aside for later. This will be used to thicken your sauce.
  • Add remaining ingredients to a medium sized pot and heat over medium high heat. Once boiling add cornstarch and water mixture, mix well.
  • Return mix to boil and stir until sauce reaches the desired thickness. If your mixture is to thick for your preference, add a bit more water. Remove from heat and store in an airtight container until ready to use.
